Is metal or shingle better on acreage out here?
Metal, if you'll be there long enough to justify it — it sheds ice, shrugs off hail and lasts 40–60 years on a barn or a farmhouse. On a subdivision home you'll sell in ten years, Class 4 shingle is the better spend. We'll price both.
My builder roof is only four years old. Why would it need work?
